Ideas/Notes

  • lilaboty is a tradional boutique that makes custom saries made by local tailor in bangladesh as well have a homemade arts and craft section where the owner herself sells homemade candles and trays with designs and many another items and lots of items are made from recycled items and the owwners wants to make saries and another traditional clothing now primarly online based cause the store was lost during covid has over 20k followers on facebook and is run by one person only a 40 year old auntie
  • in reality its a business run by ammu who is bad at business but is good at making products she hand makes all the homemade products with skills she picked up from going to several classes the products sell well with posher crowds however she is having a hard time reaaching them
  • main business is done on facebook with troubles taking product photography and marketing
  • ammu is getting alot of traction and sales from events stalls she participates so we need to anticipate event design needs
  • can say a line like "everything on your pinterest board"
  • how to separate the range of products ammu offers online
facebook shop and use facebook albums
  • the decisions to spilt the facebook pages or merge them we should keep them seperate if the clothes and home decor and widely different from each other this prevents confusing your customers
however merge them if they share the same lifestyle the same person who will buy the traditional clothes with buy the candles this is like a lifestyle brand like arrong
  • crochet should be a sub section of the clothing section
  • set up a facebook shop or instagram and shop and spilt the facebook posts in albums
  • brands pracitces are sustainable as candles are made from soya bean wax , clothes are made from cotten so it degrades fine into the ground and ammu doesnt use plastic
  • if ammu does tailoring services she is no longer a brand she wants a brand where people like a buy her design
  • new designs are posted event wise and ammu allows old designs to be remade as all the design her own therefore every design a repurchase able as they are made right then and there no item is ever out of stock
  • people discover her dresses from other people , scrolls through albums and stories and sends a screenshot of the product to page
  • primarly sales comes from reposts and stories so we need to make the discovering the design process better for the customer so the focus should be on editorial style , visual and tone and messaging landscape

use capcut for finer editting

Action Plan

Added 2026-07-05 — prioritized execution roadmap based on gap analysis across all Lilaboty files

Tier 1 — Close open decisions (no new work, just commit)

These are already answered across the files. The task is committing each answer so it stops being an open question.

1. Fill in the Messaging Landscape section
Copy from Lilaboty Generated Ideas into the blank fields above:

  • Tagline: "Made with care. Made for you."
  • One-liner: "Lilaboty is a handcrafted lifestyle brand offering custom traditional Bangladeshi fashion and home decor — made with care, delivered fast, and built with a conscience."
  • Boilerplate: the full paragraph in Generated Ideas → use in Facebook About, Instagram bio, and any event materials

2. Close the Facebook structure decision
Decision: one page, split by albums. Albums to create: Sarees, Embroidery Dresses, Crochet, Candles, Trays & Home Decor. Pin the best-performing category album at the top. Add one pinned post explaining how to order (screenshot → DM → confirm → done).

3. Close the packaging decision
Start with: kraft paper + logo stamp or sticker. Order 500 rectangular logo stickers from a local Dhaka printer. Use fabric offcuts as wrapping — already on hand, zero cost, on-brand. For candles: design one rectangular wrap-around label in Canva with the candle's emotional name (e.g. Peace Wave), the soy wax note, and the logo. Print on kraft sticker paper.

Tier 2 — Nail the visual foundation

Nothing — no templates, no content, no event materials — can be built consistently until palette and typefaces are decided.

4. Commit to 5 hex codes

  • Primary: #C05C3A (burnt terracotta)
  • Background: #F5EDE0 (warm cream)
  • Accent: #D4A020 (mustard gold)
  • Nature accent: #6B7A58 (muted olive)
  • Text: #3C3028 (warm charcoal)

Adjust shades to taste, but pick five and only those. Seasonal extensions (jewel tones for Eid, lighter sand for summer) come after the base palette is locked.

5. Commit to 2 typefaces

  • Display/headings: Cormorant Garamond (free on Google Fonts)
  • Body/captions: DM Sans (free on Google Fonts, clean on mobile)

Both available in Canva. Set them as brand fonts in the Canva workspace so the decision never has to be made again.

Tier 3 — Build the minimum content system

The smallest repeatable system Ammu can sustain alone. Not the full calendar — the floor.

6. Build 3 Canva templates

  • Clothing product post (portrait, 4:5)
  • Home decor/candle post (square, 1:1)
  • Story template (9:16) for product reveals or BTS

Each uses the committed palette and typefaces. Ammu swaps the photo and caption only. One afternoon to build all three.

7. Define the weekly minimum
One post + one story. That is the floor. The full 4-post weekly calendar (from Generated Ideas) is the ceiling for a good week. The minimum ensures consistency even on low-capacity weeks.

8. Create the BTS (behind-the-scenes) format
A recurring format, not freestyle: phone propped up, Ammu's hands working (stitching, pouring wax, block printing), 15–30 seconds, no talking required, ambient or trending audio. Record 5–10 clips in one session and hold them as a buffer. This fills the feed during slow weeks and is the proof of craft that builds brand trust.

Tier 4 — Event design (when a stall is confirmed)

Do not build this until a specific event is booked. When one is, produce in this order:

  1. Banner (Canva, printed locally)
  2. Branded paper bag (small run at a local press)
  3. Price and product labels consistent with the packaging system

What to defer

Pinterest, paid ads, influencer outreach, logo lockup variants, and the full seasonal palette system are all valid long-term moves — after Tiers 1–3 are done. The brand currently has more strategy than execution. Close the open decisions before making new ones.

The single most unblocking action: paste the tagline and messaging into the Messaging Landscape section above. Five minutes. Closes the biggest open loop in the project.
