Context

I was asked to design new jerseys for new grade 10, this time im competing against Sling and Ahanfs ai designs, Some notes from zen for this year is

• Modern Simple Look
• V Necks
• Avoiding Vibrant Colors (i think this is optional)
• "ei vibe ta lagbe bujcho1. someone tomare dekhe bhabbe wow tht niggas cold ei vibe ta lagbe bujcho"
• Taking Inspo from this years world cup, adidas/nike jerseys

Visual Notes

• Simple geometric patterns that fade into the jersey and keep the illustrations clean and geometric
• Keep illustrations that are used must keep in a iconographic style
  • however can be really detailed and creative
• i was actually to avoid "print" illustrations which i understand
• Solid Pattern will do more than gradients, these dark colors didnt work out, testing more lighter patterns and it does not need to stick to a rigid color palette
• going to stick to a ligher color palletee
• have to include texts

Bib's Thoughts

• Adding decals to fill in negative space so it is seen as more "finished" - wont work because they want simple?
• I wanna showcase off the clothes in a boxed background with nodes explaining each choice in order to stand out then in the next page it can be mockups
• Need to find a solid mockup to work off
• going futuristic y2k approach with glass morphism and clean geometric shapes for contrast making it look

• The vines did not work out the futurist font choices while the fonts that did work looked like the jersey is from ancient fucking greek the gradient does not look like the reference photo while sticking with the dark maroon sbs color made it look dull and boring while adding red converting the red into salmon pink, there is no clear difference between this and the ai design
• Adding thin lines created contrast and removed the boring wall of color
• 
• V2 of the jersey design, futuristic glass morphism with circles with light blue and white accents here are the problems with the design at glance
• syntactics the clean font does not line with the angular wolf icon while the "wolves" feel off place from the rest of the font while the sbs logo seems like a brand sponsorship looking stupid
• the white text on light blue background is a crime to people with visual impairments as for a sport jersey there needs to be more contrast to highlight the important assets such as
  • Player name
  • player number
  • player team
• The pattern doesn't correlate with the futuristic "y2k" "pixel brutalist" aesthetic i set for myself
• The design has no semantics therefore does not stand out amongst the other soulless meaning less ai designs which is my competition
• Needs better storytelling, the aesthetics are fine just minor adjustments to the syntactics
